When you think about the “Pacific Coast,” you are likely thinking of the seaboard of the western United States. Maybe even Hawaii makes it into your mental fray. However, if your client wants to book Pacific business travel you may be dealing any one of a host of other countries.
Asia
While Asia encompasses many different countries, a great deal of the business travel happens in China, Japan, India, Thailand, and a few other smaller countries (many of them Islands). These days Indonesia stands out as an Asian destination, as do several other of the beautiful islands in that area of the world.
Australia
One of the gems of Pacific travel is Australia. Not only does it have great convention facilities all over the country, there is always something to do somewhere. From visits to aboriginal villages and Outback tours to water sports and the Sydney Opera House, there is something for everyone in Australia.
South America
Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, modern day Chile offers rich history, culture, widely varied landscapes and climates, accommodations, and interesting sports. Tourism has become a large source of revenue for the country, offering the ever-fascinating Easter Island as an additional destination.
These are only a few of the large assortment of interesting corporate travel destinations in the Pacific Rim. A quick Internet search for others will get you a list that could keep you in inventory for years.
